The Major League Baseball office has announced that the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego will play next year’s regular season opener in Seoul.
The two-game series, starting on March 20, will most likely be played at the Gocheokdome.
It will be the ninth time that the official opening game will be played outside of the United States, and Seoul will be the second city in Asia to host the event, joining Tokyo, Japan.
We’ll get a chance to see Kim Ha-sung in action in San Diego.

“I never thought I would have the opportunity to represent the San Diego Padres and Major League Baseball in my homeland. I can’t tell you how excited and happy I am to be playing in Korea in a San Diego uniform.”
The Dodgers, 안전놀이터 who have many ties to Korean players such as Park Chan-ho, Choi Hee-seop, and Ryu Hyun-jin, also showed their excitement with a Korean greeting to see him in Seoul.
