Yoon finished second in the women’s 87kg weightlifting competition with a lift of 107kg, a snatch of 145kg and a total of 252kg on Saturday at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games at the Xiaoshan Sports Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. In third place was Zheng Aram with a total of 245 kilograms (106 kilograms in the lift and 139 kilograms in the snatch).Liang Shamei (26-China) pulled away with a 120kg lift on the vault and won by a comfortable margin with a total of 275kg (155kg on the beam).Lo Ying-yuan (Chinese Taipei), Ankhtsetseg Munkhjantsan (Mongolia), Yun Ha-je and Chung Aram started the fight for second place on the beam with a 108kg lift. With both Lo Ying Yuan and Munkhjantsan failing in the first through third periods, it was a goodwill battle between the Koreans for the silver medal.
