‘Boxing World Champion’ Choi Yosam’s artifacts donated to Jeonbuk Sports Association

The sports relics of the late Choi Yo-sam, an “eternal boxing champion,” have been enshrined in the Jeonbuk Sports Association.According to the Jeonbuk Provincial Sports Association (JPSA), Choi Kyung-ho (manager of the Y3 Boxing Club in Seoul) recently donated gloves, shoes, and training journals used by his brother Choi Yo-sam during his lifetime, saying, “I want to contribute to the creation of a sports history memorial.” He also donated his brother’s gloves, shoes, and training journals.

Choi, who was born in Jeong-eup, Jeollabuk-do, was crowned Oriental champion and WBC world champion in 1994 and 1999, respectively.
