Youth Sports Hanmadang 3×3 Basketball is coming to Jeju after Jeonnam.
The 2023 Youth Sports Hanmadang 3×3 Basketball Jeju will be held on September 9 and 10 at the Jeju Il Il-do 카지노사이트 Elementary School Gymnasium.
The ‘2023 Youth Sports Hanmadang 3×3 Basketball’ is an ambitious initiative by the Korea Sports Council to promote and revitalize 3×3 basketball in Korea and to provide a platform for exchanges between elite and student athletes, and this is the first time the tournament has been organized by the Korea Basketball Association.
The tournament has already kicked off in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, on the 2nd and 3rd of this month, and is headed to Jeju Island for the second leg. Organized by the Korea Basketball Federation, the Korea Basketball Association and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Basketball Association, the tournament is open to all athletes, regardless of registration or affiliation, including school athletic departments, school sports clubs and after-school sports classes.
Each team is limited to four players, but must have a combination of student-athletes (those enrolled in professional sports) and general students. At least one player on the team must be a student-athlete. However, a team may have up to two student-athletes.
The tournament, which will be held in two divisions, elementary and secondary, will consist of a preliminary round on Dec. 9 and a final round on Dec. 10. The winning team in each category will receive a trophy and medal worth KRW 300,000 for first place, a trophy and medal worth KRW 150,000 for second place, and a trophy and medal worth KRW 100,000 for third place.
The event will also be packed with activities. Participating players will have the opportunity to ask questions to the 3×3 national team players and experience various experiences such as one-on-one games and 3-on-2 games with the 3×3 national team players.
