FC Seoul has made K League history in terms of crowd mobilization as the top box office team.
The club announced on Tuesday that “Seoul has become the first K League 1 team to surpass 500,000 fans in a single season since the 2018 paid attendance figures were released.” On the day, 37,788 fans attended the Seoul World Cup Stadium, bringing the club’s home attendance to 501,091 for the season. The average attendance for the 18 home matches was 27,838.

Park made his professional soccer debut in a Seoul jersey in 2005 and spent 11 seasons with the club, including stints in European big leagues such as AS Monaco (France) and Arsenal (England). He scored 76 goals and provided 23 assists in 285 K League games.
Ulsan fans will be able to see him retire at Ulsan Munsoo Stadium on March 23, the day of the championship coronation.
