Men’s Handball defeats India to make it three straight Asian Games qualifiers for Paris 2024

The South Korean men’s handball team made it three wins in a row after defeating India in the Asian

Qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The men’s handball team, led by head coach Hollando Freitas, defeated India 46-19 in the third game of

their Group A match at the tournament in Doha, Qatar, on Nov. 21 (KST).

The Koreans, who had previously defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 29-23 and Saudi Arabia 29-27,

recorded their third consecutive victory over India.

South Korea will play Asian powerhouse Qatar for the top spot in Pool 4 on Nov. 23.

The Koreans jumped out to a 28-9 halftime lead to take control of the game early.

The Olympic Asian Qualifier features 11 nations in two groups. South Korea is in Group A alongside Qatar,

China, India, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The first and second place finishers in each group will advance to

a quarterfinal tournament to determine the winner.

The winner receives a direct ticket to the Olympics, while the runner-up receives a ticket to the Olympic World Qualifier.

South Korea has qualified for the Olympic Games seven times, including four consecutive Olympic Games

from Sydney 2000 to London 2012. South Korea will be looking to qualify for the first time in 12 years. 카지노사이트존
